The Stations of the Cross, also known as the Way of the Cross, are a devotion in which Christians meditate upon the suffering of death of Jesus Christ on Good Friday. The Stations of the Cross are traditionally associated with the season of Lent.
St. Peter Parish offers the opportunity to participate in this devotion on Fridays in Lent at 7:00 PM in the church.
A variety of formats are presented including the traditional stations written by St. Alphonsus Liguori, musical stations presented by the ROCK Youth Group and living stations presented by the RCIA class.
Prior to Stations of the Cross each week, a Lenten Pot Luck Supper is held in the basement of the Fr. Welch Hall.
